I set up restaurants and consult for hotels. I am a web designer and branding / marketing consultant building clients businesses on social media, SEO and blogs. I also set up and run an international book club in in person in Sicily, Vienna, England and online internationally with paying and non paying members. The clubs are for native and non native speakers so I teach English in the non native groups along with the joy of the book. I have taught at every level of the education system and in many countries from Bulgaria, to Vietnam, Saudi to Italy in person and now online across the planet. Coming from a non traditional academic background makes me appreciate life and learning & have created teaching and learning methods from this life experience. I work as a 'scientific based life coach', business consultant and author these days and am living between Sicily and England so would like to share my skills and passion with a couple of lucky students as I don't offer full time work but prefer to give quality rather than quantity. Originally from London, I left to live in other countries about 13 years ago - I have lived and worked in Vietnam, New York, Bali, Saudi Arabia, Sicily, Vienna, Bulgaria, Germany and Portugal. I speak Italian (with a Sicilian accent!) and am learning German and Mandarin as I don't understand English tutors who say they can't speak / learn other languages. I love cooking, calligraphy & letter writing, languages, people watching (for socio-cultural reasons rather than stalking!), reading, astronomy, red wine production, classical music & opera, travel, chess, basketball, football (Arsenal and Madrid fan), poetry, blogging and a simple life... I also love children having fostered and worked as a basketball coach since I was 14 years old from the poorest to the most prestigious educations in the UK as a teacher at Rodean School For Girls in Sussex, UK. I currently teach kids online from China and Taiwan to Mexico and Italy. As a children's book author, childlike nature and love of kids it is always a delight. I enjoy face to face contact with kids also teaching whilst playing sports, cooking together or via video games. I love life and it reflects in the teaching that I offer.
